SDSU's Health Profession Advising Office (HPAO) serves pre-medical, pre-dental, pre-veterinary, pre-pharmacy, pre-podiatry, pre-optometry, pre-physician assistant, and pre-allied health students of SDSU.

In this office, students are advised by HPAO Advisor, Logan Watson, regarding their selected path of desired future health profession and studies. Peer mentors are also available for extra assistance. Students are strongly encouraged to visit the office to create a file and meet with Logan.

Services Logan Watson provides:

• Reviews Personal Statements

• Reviews Activity Sections of CAS

• Holds Mock Interviews

• Recommends strategies for how to secure letters of recommendation

• Assists with planning to take the MCAT, GRE, DAT, etc.

• Provides guidance for when to apply to grad school

• Provides information for clinical opportunities, community service, shadowing, and much more
